SPEED is a function of your nervous system.

The BRAIN must trust the BODY in order to move fast. The fastest athletes are excellent at these two skills:

BALANCE

When we sprint, only one foot touches the ground at a time. The best athletes quickly STABILIZE and REDISTRIBUTE massive forces through just the ball of their foot.

RELAXATION

When a muscle contracts, the muscle on the opposite side must relax. Fast Contraction = Fast Relaxation.
